It is true that the forms of entertainment have changed dramatically in recent years. Kids rarely play outside unless they are made to do it by their teachers while at school. Many parents try to send their children to some sort of sport practice. Whether it is gymnastics, football or even dancing, it is way better than just staring at the display of the phone all day long. However, it is not just children who stare at screens all day long – people in their 20s do it as well. Folks mostly have computer-related jobs nowadays. You’ve probably seen a ton of movies where the main characters need to solve a few puzzles in order to exit some sort of a room and save the world or at least their own life. We bet that you have imagined being there yourself and experiencing that. Well now you have this opportunity.
In these Escape rooms you and your friends are locked in a room and are surrounded by usual items. There’s usually a desk, chairs, pictures on the walls, clock, a bookshelf etc. You need to follow clues and unlock boxes and cabinets in order to find new clues and eventually get out of the room before the time is up. You usually have an hour to accomplish that.
There are a few things to consider when attempting and escape from such a room. They are all different but have a bunch of common signs. For example it is usually dark at the beginning and your first task is usually to find a way to turn on the lights. And just think about furnishing such a room. It is not easy. It is a tremendous teambuilding activity and it definitely allows people to bond together. You will get to learn a lot about your friends when you see them behave in such a situation. Pressure moments show us different sides of people’s characters. Take advantage of these rooms and take part in as many as possible.
